Training Curriculum Overview
One unique factor of BLS is how we facilitate seminars and train adults. From the very beginning, Don Butler, founder of BLS,
realized that when adults get together, it is an opportunity to learn from one another. Our facilitation style evolved through
interaction, discussion and workshops.
Our methodology and learning process centers around the participants documenting action in small group activities, with the
team leader reporting back for group discussion and action. The answers are more in-depth and developed by the participants,
who take ownership of the data. As the sessions unfold, action plans are created, which become checklists for improvement.
Our follow-up process assures reinforcement of skills and changes in behavior as new habits are formed. The learning
progression is threefold:
